RAKTA MOKSHANA

(Rakta Mokshana - Blood Letting) is the fifth among the Panchakarma body purificatory therapies. In the cases where the disease is not controlled by oleation, fomentation, Vaman, Virechana, Basti then Rakta Mokshana Should be Planned. Body has the tendency to push out the vitiated blood initially when it starts bleeding.

Indication: patients of neuralgias get instant relief from pain. Cellulites, inflammation, pain, swelling are the common indication of blood letting.
